Asia is an award winning British Libyan graphic novelist. Born in Libya in Tripoli and then migrating to Glasgow as a young girl with her family. Falling in love with comics and Manga, she realised the potential of humanising issues of often marginalised people and furthering understanding of complex stories. Asia has represented the Muslim and Arab voice through her work with the aim of harnessing the medium as a tool for cross-cultural dialogue.
