Pat is a widely published and award winning artist and an illustrator of graphic novels. Born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo, his work has been published in Kinshasa and he was the first African comic book writer published in the United States. He illustrated episodes of Unknown Soldier for DC Comics/Vertigo before working with Dark Horse/Berger books and Fair Square Comics. He has been published in France, Italy, Switzerland and the UK and has collaborated with many newspapers such as Le Monde, Huffington Post, Courrier International, le Gri-Gri International and Bakchich Info. He has worked on projects with international organisations such as UN, PRIO, International Red Cross Geneva, UNESCO and the World Food Programme. He is regularly invited for artist residencies in Benin, Mozambique, Cameroon, Morocco, Ghana.
