Renren Galeno

Ren Galeno is a comic book author and illustrator from Davao City, Philippines. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She has previously published I pray you’re born with gills (2021) and illustrated Searching for Maura (2023) for the Washington Post. Her first comic book, Sa Wala, was published in 2023. In 2024 she was a Pulitzer Finalist for Best Illustrated Reporting and Commentary for Searching For Maura
