‘There Were Signs’ is an animation revealing the experiences of young people who are undocumented or have irregular immigration status.
The artist and animator worked with Let us Learn, an ambitious organisation of young migrants, to create an imagined reality in which their thoughts and emotions are visualised through animation.
The animation will be used in schools as way of informing young undocumented people about the opportunities that applying for UK citizenship can unlock while de-stigmatising the issue amongst classmates and friends.
