Akhila Krishnan

Akhila Krishnan is a multidisciplinary designer and director working across fine art, graphic narrative, moving image, projection design for live experience/VR and collaborative practice. She has worked for clients including Channel 4, Victoria and Albert Museum, National Theatre, Metropolitan Opera, Somerset House, Hampton Court Palace, The Government of India, Barbican, London Design Festival, Public Service Broadcasting Trust, Random House Publishing, Penguin Books and more – in the UK, India, USA, Germany, Spain, France and Ireland. In her teaching and facilitation practice she has worked with designers and artists, with children and their parents, young people and vulnerable adults on a variety of projects with educational, cultural and artistic organisations.

Her work with PositiveNegatives includes developing and facilitating a workshop on collaborative creative practice in Myanmar in 2019 and creative direction and animation for Drawing on Rights.
