Jessica: Coca growing, stigmatisation, violence and development in Colombia
This research-based comic, featured in Latin America Bureau, illustrates the true story of a coca grower in Colombia’s borderlands, and the ways in which her life has been impacted by the conflict in Colombia and the drug economy.
The comic was created by Inty Grillos. It was co-produced by PositiveNegatives and Drugs & (dis)order – in collaboration with Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
